Integrated Management System Specialist for the Manufacturing group in Segment M&I. The location for this position is open. The position will report to the Director of Manufacturing & Engineering, Municipal, and has no direct reports. The primary responsibilities are:
· Develop and maintain site IMS documentation aligned with NA documents for ISO 9000, 14000 and OHSAS 18000
· Utilize the North American Document Management System to control documents
· Train site personnel on IMS topics and procedures
· Work as a trained internal IMS auditor coordinating with the North America IMS Manager
· Utilize Synergi to manage incidents, audit findings and quality non-conformities
· Assist as needed with the SAP notification process for customer complaints
· Participate with the NA EHSQ group on IMS activities
· Coordinate external certification audits for their sites
We require a four year Bachelor’s degree in a Quality, EHS or related field; experience in chemical manufacturing relating to Quality, Safety and Environmental work processes; and third party certification and auditing experience. We also require frequent travel; computer skills including Microsoft Office products; SAP and SharePoint preferred; and knowledge of regulatory requirements of ISO, EPA, OSHA, etc.
First choice for location is Baltimore, Maryland, second choice is Atlanta, Georgia and third choice is E. Chicago, Indiana. Some possibility for
candidate to operate from his/her home providing that he/she lives near a major airport. Travel in this job will be about 40% - 50%.
