Primary responsibility is to promote and sell our product lines within your assigned territory. This would include sizing, specifying, quoting, ordering, troubleshooting, and otherwise assisting our industrial clients with their fluid handling needs. The first 12 months +/- would involve working with the company owner and additional employees out of the N Alabama office in an application engineer role to gain the required foundation for success once you are moved to outside sales. Your compensation during this training peroid will be a competitive base salary plus descretionary year end bonus. Once you are awarded a territory, you will then be compensated with the base salary plus a year end incentive bonus based on the profitability of your sales territory. This outside sales territory would most likely be in Al and or GA. If you are dedicated, hard working, personable, and tenacious you can be very successful with our company.
We reimburse for sales expenses, pay for major medical insurance through BCBS, and have a 100% company funded profit sharing plan. We have very low turnover of our employees and this position is being offered not due to turnover, but because of the company's current and additional growth opportunities now available. Being in outside sales is not easy, but if you have the right skill and mind set, you can make lots more money in this business as compared to traditional engineering jobs.
